Our collaborative work on rewiring energy flow in biohybrids for solar-driven biosynthesis is published in Nature Sustainability.

Our collaborative work, “Rewiring energy flow in biohybrids for enhanced solar-driven biosynthesis,” has been published in Nature Sustainability. Congratulations to all our collaborators!

The study tunes semiconductor morphology and structure in CdS-Vibrio natriegens biohybrids to improve the conversion of light energy into microbial products. The platform supports the production of 2,3-butanediol, polyhydroxybutyrate, and alpha-farnesene, and uses waste-carbon feedstocks including industrial wastewater.
